About Camp Bucko

Camp Bucko—short for Burn Camp for Kids in Ontario—is a registered charity that provides a free, supportive, and empowering camp experience for children recovering from burn injuries.

Since its founding, Camp Bucko has offered a safe and nurturing environment where children aged 7-17 can connect with others who have experienced similar challenges. Through fun and therapeutic activities, the camp fosters self-esteem, builds friendships, and helps campers embrace life with renewed confidence.

Some of the wonderful programs Camp Bucko offers include:

  • Outdoor adventures like hiking, swimming, and canoeing

  • Creative workshops for self-expression

  • Supportive peer-to-peer discussions led by compassionate staff

Your attendance at the Obsidian Soirée helps ensure that Camp Bucko can continue to provide these life-changing experiences to children in need.
